Test: Disparity

Information you need to cover:
- definition of disparity;
- GDP + per capita, annual growth, inflation rate & the consumer basket of goods, HDI... explain what they measure and how it compares development;
-how wealth is created or limited in countries; how governments support development (#1 notes; section 3; a-d);
-economic history (feudalism, mercantilism colonisation, capitalism vs communism);
-impact of colonisation in Africa; current corporate "neocolonialism;"
-law of supply and demand...

Notes:
1-Economic measurements - explanations of concepts, understanding of how/why they are used; what governments can do...
2-causes of disparity - history of the consolidation of wealth in the "hands of a few"
