-review the classification of countries (developed/developing/LDC)
-correct the corresponding FIB in your intro-booklet.

-gain a basic understanding of globalisation;
-notes and discussion
-two articles in the booklet

Homework for Thursday, period one:

-choose TWENTY various items at home (furniture, appliances, clothing, food, lightbulbs...);
-write the item down in a list - indicate where it was made;
THEN: map the countries from your list of twenty on the back of the booklet.

-use the page provided in the booklet; this is individual work to be handed in.

2. Discuss the various reasons why globalization has intensified since WWII (1945)?
3. Why is globalization a topic that brings about so much debate?
4. For whom is globalization most beneficial: developed or developing countries. Explain.
