For Monday, Jan. 28:

Simply, build a table that lists the nineteen assigned countries and the thirteen economic or development indicators; no need to fill out the data - just build the table. Technically, your table will run 14x20 columns...

Here is a list of sites you will use:
Global debt comparision
GDP, per capital
GDP (total, by RANK)  (* according to "purchasing power parity") - you could simply use the rank for your table
World literacy rates
CIA, literacy rates - alphabetically, total, and by male and female

This is interesting: expenditure per student, primary (% GDP)

Lastly, here are some figures for those living below the poverty line in Canada (LICOs, 2009):
1 person: $18,421
2 persons: $22,420
3 persons: $27,918
4 persons: $34,829

    there's a bit of colorful lingo, graphic imagery, etc., but that's reality. it's about the warlords of libera, really interesting. i hope you show it!
